Wolf Watch
Once again the howling of wolves echoes through the mountains of the Delaware Water Gap. Your class will have the opportunity to watch and listen to packs of Tundra, Timber, and Arctic wolves in a natural setting.
There will be an informal discussion by the people who raise and care for the wolves where your students will learn about the social structure of the wolf packs, their eating habits, their eating habits, and many other interesting facts. Your pupils will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions. While in the observation area they will be able to watch the wolves play, interact with each other, and maybe even hear them howl!
This is a fun way to meet Pennsylvania’s new environmental and ecology standards.
We do all the work. Meals and transportation can be arranged. Consider adding an historically narrated Trolley tour, a visit to Quiet Valley Living History Farm, the Cranberry Bog, or a Maple Sugaring program to round out your day. |
