FRESH AIR AND CAPTIVATING ENTERTAINMENT

This is a great way to spend a day in the country. In its second season, the crew at Ham’s Country Theater is offering you a newly revamped program that is sure to please. With the input of group leaders like you, Toni Cusumano, our talent scout, has scoured the rich field of talent available in the Poconos and created a show that will delight and entertain you.

Your motorcoach will be greeted by a local guide minutes after you arrive in the Poconos. As a group leader, you can sit back and relax. Your new assistant will take care of things from here. Your outing in the picturesque Pocono Mountains has begun.

The first stop will be at the American Candle Factory for a little shopping. Don’t let the name fool you. There is a lot more than candles here. It’s a perfect stop for a bus offering gifts, decorations, Christmas items and over 300 barrels of candy.

Once involved in the Underground Railroad that helped transport escaped slaves from the South, your next stop will be at the historic Swiftwater Inn. This is where your group will dine and be entertained by the Country Hams. This years’ menu is fabulous! A Culinary Institute trained chef, using only fresh ingredients, will prepare your meal. Your members will be asked to choose one of the following entrees.

Encrusted Pork Tenderloin
Sole stuffed with Shrimp, Spinach, and Cheese
Chicken Francaise

All these selections will be served with fresh vegetables and a choice of rice or sweet potatoes. Desert will be Bananas Foster over vanilla ice cream. Tea and coffee will be served.

After dining, the show begins. It will be an eclectic mix of singing, comedy, magic, or skits. The entertainment will be customized to your groups’ desires. After you book your tour, your input will determine the venue.

Weather permitting, you will travel to the top of the highest mountain in the Poconos. It’s a great place to enjoy a spectacular view, breath some rarified country air, and take photos.

Your last stop will be at the 107 The Crossings Premium Outlets. Your group will shop at these deeply discounted name brand stores. Remember that Pennsylvania doesn’t have tax on clothing or shoes. So, you’ll be saving a bundle on your purchases.
